**UPDATE**PLEASE READ**

KGO updated a new policy in 2015. Now, all new accounts made through the cartoonnetwork (CN) portal has to be activated by an active korean phone number. I guess this guide has become obsolete.. however I will leave this guide here just for reference.

If you managed to find any korean friend to borrow their phone number, you can then use this guide to complete the verification process after registration.

PLEASE DO NOT PESTER/ BE RUDE to anyone in the group if they are unable to help you verify your account/get an ID for you. Understand that it is very difficult to get a korean phone number from KGO players as their phone numbers are associated with their national IDs (i.e. Any illegal activity done with their phone number/national IDs could get them in trouble with the law). Hence it is very difficult for us (players in the group) to convince our korean friends to lend us their phone numbers. Please take note of this. To reiterate, this guide is only for reference.

To Register for an account:

1. Open IE or Internet Explorer (doesn’t work in chrome browser)

2. Go to http://hon.cartoonnetworkkorea.com/

3. Click the 'register for an account' icon

4. Check/tick all the boxes, scroll down and click on 'I Agree'

5. Choose the email option.

6. Press F12 (or right-click and go to 'Inspect Element').

7. Change "hanmail.net" to "yahoo.com" or "gmail.com"

8. Enter your email

9. Check your Inbox/Spam/Trash folder to get the 6-digit authentification code (in the confirmation email)

10. Fill in your registration info. NOTE: ‘Nickname’ must be in numbers (with no letters).

*If a long message pop up, it is saying “Nickname should not contain any special characters or alphabets” (닉네임에는 특수문자 또는 영문자를 사용하실수 없습니다.)

*If a short message pop up, but you can’t go to the next page, it is saying “That nickname already exists.” (이미 존재 하는 닉네임 입니다.)

"사용 가능한 닉네임 입니다." means "Available nickname"

To Download the Game:

1. Open IE (doesn't work in chrome browser)

2. Go to http://hon.cartoonnetworkkorea.com/

3. Follow the steps shown below:

To Launch the Client:
NOTE: The client can only be opened from the website, it cannot be opened from a desktop icon.

1. Sign in to your account at http://hon.cartoonnetworkkorea.com

2. Enter your ID and PW

3. Go back to http://hon.cartoonnetworkkorea.com/ and REFRESH (F5 key)

4. If this is your first time logging in after creating a new account, you will see this

5. Click on the icon at “2”. It will take you to a page where you have to check/tick all boxes, scroll down and type in your Nickname that you used to register for an account.

6. When done, check the page at http://hon.cartoonnetworkkorea.com/ again, it will show the icon with your ID.

7. Check your KGO folder and make sure there are these 3 files:

8. Click the ‘Game Start’ icon to launch the client. There will be some messages popping up, just click ‘Allow access’ and ‘Install’.

NOTE: The client will not run if you are running SSO client at the same time.

9. Wait for it to finish patching and click ‘Game Start’
