A very foreign term that I encountered when i first joined KGO was "2:4", or what the Korean players called "상마". There was no such thing as "2:4" in SSO because of the lack of items needed to execute this training method and also the lack of the map to do 2:4 (more explanation on that later). NOTE: Thanks Agness and 린자짱이 님 for explaining it to me. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description Basically, 2:4 is a method to level up quickly by paying high level players to do the job for you. 2:4 consists of: 2 Dealers (high level players) 4 Buyers (low level players) There are two types of 2:4, 1. 상마 sangma (Harder) 2. 일마 ilma (Easier) "2" in 2:4 consists of the 격수 (main dealer) and the 부격수 (dealer's helper). For 상마, 격수 (main dealer) = Level 175 ↑ 부격수 (helper) = Level 160 ↑ For 일마, 격수 (main dealer) = Level 160 ↑ 부격수 (helper) = Level 145 ↑ The difference between 상마 and 일마 are the items required to execute each method respectively. The reason the 격수 (main dealer) has to be level 175 and above in 상마 is because of the Monster Summon Charms. Naturally, the most desirable monster to be summoned is the big dragon (level 180) because it gives about 16m EXP each (Summoned monsters have higher HP but give higher EXP rewards). The Monster Summon Charms have a level range of mobs (±10) around the player's level, so players above level 175 have a HIGHER chance of successfully summoning the big dragon.
The duration of each 2:4 session is 30 minutes.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A typical example of a 2:4 shout looks like this:
where,
xxx 솬 = The level of the dealer
상마 = 2:4
100장 = 100 Summon Charms
1축/가비 = 1 Gold LS 200/250%
랏11111111 = Last 1 slot in party
In summary,
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Items Needed for 2:4
상마
Be careful when you buy the Summon Charms. It has to be the one with the pink glow behind it. Monsters summoned from this type of summon charms have a higher drop rate.
Summon Charms (상급마물소환부적) usually cost about 19 - 23m each and LS 250% usually costs about 450 - 500m each (Please take note that market price may fluctuate). Gold LS cannot be bought from the cash shop, it is only sold during Cash Shop events.
일마
The Summon Charms used for 일마 has no pink glow behind it. Monsters summoned from this charm have a lower drop rate.
Summon Charms (마물소환부적) usually cost about 7-8m each (Please take note that market price may fluctuate).

Map
이계문 (Netherworld) -> 승헌도승 (Netherworld Monk) ->
황천입장 -> 특수황천 -> 소환의방 (Map)
Note: Once you enter the map, DO NOT HIT THE BLUE CHARM AT THE BOTTOM LEFT or the whole party will have to exit the map. Hit it only after the 2:4 session has finished. (i.e. after all summon charms have been used up)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Many players choose to do 2:4 from level 157 onwards to level up quickly because of the Quick Quest difficulty at higher levels. Players usually do 2:4 right after Faction War/10-minute war when they have obtained the FW buff. NOTE: Some dealers are known to take players' Summon Charms/LS and run away with it, so be careful who you choose to do 2:4 with.
